HopeRISE Alabama is seeking a dedicated Fundraising Coordinator to join our team remotely. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and implementing strategies for donor outreach, managing donation drives, and organizing both virtual and in-person fundraising events. Your work will be vital in securing the funding necessary to support our programs aimed at helping expecting and parenting teens seek higher education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies to attract and retain donors
- Manage donation drives, including planning, promotion, and tracking donations
- Organize and coordinate virtual and in-person fundraising events
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Volunteer Coordinator to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals
- Maintain accurate records of donor information and contributions
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in fundraising or a related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to commit at least 5 hours per week for a minimum of one year
- Proficiency in managing virtual events and digital fundraising platforms is a plus
Additional Requirements:
- Two professional references
- Ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with the Executive Director and Volunteer Coordinator
