Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll), a nonprofit with a proven track record of helping underrepresented individuals successfully start a business, is offering a no-cost, 12-week virtual business accelerator program for individuals residing in Colorado.

Mentors play a critical role in the EforAll Business Accelerator program, providing ongoing support and encouragement to aspiring entrepreneurs looking to start a business. Mentors use their knowledge and professional experience as part of a customized team supporting entrepreneurs during this program.

This role is great for anyone looking for a highly rewarding experience who can dedicate the time needed to help someone pursue their business dream. This volunteer opportunity is open to residents of the U.S.

Mentor Timelime
Mentor Deadline: November 15, 2024
Mentor Orientation/Intake (one night): TBA
Mentor Matching Event (one night): January 6 & 7, 2025
Mentoring Across Differences Training (two nights): mid & late January, 2025
Mentor Meetings (one hour/week*): January 13, 2025 - April 11, 2025
Entrepreneur Final Presentations (one night): week of April 14, 2025
Entrepreneur Showcase & Celebration (one night): Week of April 28, 2025

*weekly meeting times will be based on mutual availability of the team.

• Utilize professional knowledge and expertise to serve as a resource for entrepreneurs, reaffirming topics and themes raised during classes
• Help entrepreneurs understand customer segments, test and refine business models, set goals, and ultimately get their businesses started
• Ask thoughtful questions that prompt entrepreneurs to reflect and engage critical thinking skills
• Serve as a sounding board for entrepreneurs to share concerns and questions
• Build partnerships centered around trust and respect
• Help set and prioritize goals while entrepreneurs are navigating this fast-paced Accelerator program

• Someone who can commit to the process. Must be able to conduct weekly 60 minutes online calls for 12 weeks
