Overview:
The Grant Writer and Researcher will play a vital role in securing funding to support the operations and programs of Emerald Hills Animal Haven. This position requires a combination of research, writing, and relationship-building skills to identify potential funding opportunities and craft compelling grant proposals.
Responsibilities:
- Research: Conduct thorough research on grant-making foundations, corporations, and government agencies that align with the sanctuary's mission and goals.
- Grant Writing: Develop and write persuasive grant proposals that effectively communicate the sanctuary's needs, impact, and outcomes.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with potential funders through outreach, networking, and follow-up communications.
- Proposal Tracking: Manage a grant tracking system to ensure timely submission of proposals and follow-up on funding decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit required reports to funders, documenting the use of grant funds and demonstrating program outcomes.

We currently have 12 pigs and 2 cows that were taken in from an abused situation, and are now living their best life! We are hoping to expand into a dog foster program and more!
