Strategic Resource Development- The Development Committee (DC) focuses on strategy, planning, and related planning for resource development for fundraising. The Development Committee works with the NAMI Executive Leadership team to create an annual plan that outlines goals, assignments, and processes for fundraising, ensuring that NAMI Metro Suburban has sufficient funding to support long-term sustainability.
Donor Stewardship- Guiding stewardship efforts is at the heart of the DC, including developing relationships with the community by engaging current and potential donors and funders. Board Fundraising - Education & Training - The Committee acts as a catalyst to train the greater Board and helps to facilitate educating NAMI Board members and equipping them with tools and skills to fundraise on behalf of the NAMI Metro Suburban mission.
The Committee assesses the organization's fundraising efforts and makes adjustments as needed.
