We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Volunteer Coordinator to join our team. As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing our volunteer program, recruiting and training volunteers, and ensuring a positive experience for our volunteers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in volunteer management, build your skills, and make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities:
- Manage our volunteer program, including recruitment, training, and scheduling
- Coordinate volunteer opportunities and events
- Communicate with volunteers and staff to ensure a positive experience
- Develop and implement volunteer training programs
- Track and report volunteer hours and impact
- Foster a positive and inclusive volunteer culture
- Collaborate with our team to integrate volunteers into our programs and events
Requirements:
- Experience in volunteer management or a related field
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of volunteer management software (e.g. VolunteerMatch.org, Excel)
- Passion for our mission and values
