Current Need: A local nonprofit committed to empowering girls by teaching essential life skills through a mix of physical activity, fostering friendships, and engaging with adult and peer mentors is looking for program support in their main office.
Location: Mountlake Terrace, WA with hybrid flexibility
Commitment: 4-6 hours a week (flexible based on volunteer availability)
Duration: 6 months, January 2025 - June 2025 (most critical time is March-June)
Schedule Options: Volunteer can work within any of these timeframes for in-person workMondays - Thursdays 9am-5pm
Key Responsibilities of this role include:
- Inventory Management: Help maintain and track all physical inventory for programs. Organize and prep for dissemination across all program sites the materials needed based on location and curriculum requirements.
- Program Projects: Participate in special projects such as volunteer and participant communications, outreach campaigns, site visit scheduling and coordination, etc.
- Office Management: Support the team with daily administrative tasks including office organization and consolidation.

Description
Companis has worked in Snohomish and King counties for nearly 30 years to match passionate volunteers with local nonprofit agencies in need. We ask the right questions and listen deeply to determine the right fit for both volunteer and agency.
As part of the Companis placement, you will meet with a Companis Program Manager to share your interests, skill sets, availability, and experience. The program manager will share additional information about available roles, local nonprofit agencies, and Companis expectations and training. Companis' goal is to find the right match for both our volunteer worker and the agency to ensure that you are supported the entire way!
