Post It Love is a nonprofit dedicated to writing handwritten notes of encouragement for elementary students. Our mission is to provide emotional support to students through positive affirmations, helping them build resilience, self-esteem, and perseverance. We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Volunteer Support Representative to join our team and assist with handling inquiries from current and prospective volunteers.

Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to serve as our Volunteer Support Representative. This role involves answering incoming calls, responding to volunteer inquiries, and providing general information about Post It Love's mission and programs. You will play a key role in ensuring our volunteers feel supported and informed.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to volunteer questions in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide information about Post It Love’s volunteer opportunities, application process, and expectations
• Assist prospective volunteers with completing applications and explain the onboarding process
• Maintain accurate records of volunteer inquiries and provide timely follow-up
• Address any concerns or issues volunteers may have and escalate them to the appropriate team member when necessary
• Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure seamless communication and support for all volunteers
• Help schedule volunteer orientations and training sessions
• Offer excellent customer service and uphold the positive, uplifting spirit of Post It Love

Requirements:

• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
• Previous experience in customer service, volunteer coordination, or a related field is a plus
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with the ability to convey empathy
• Organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stay on top of follow-ups
• Basic proficiency with phone systems and data entry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about Post It Love’s mission and values
