Special Olympics Florida is hosting the Northeast Region Fall Classic Competition on Saturday, October 12th from 8:00am - 4:00pm at Legacy Park & Hal Brady Recreation Complex, Alachua. Athletes from across the region will be competing in Flag Football, Softball, Powerlifting, and Pickleball. Join us for a full and exciting day of sport!
Volunteers are needed to assist with awards, general assistance, sideline referees, score keeping and reporting, lunch and water distribution, set up/break down.
Please register for ONE sport. Scorekeeping roles require prior knowledge/experience in the selected sport. All spotters must be 18 years or older.
Volunteers will receive:
- Special Olympics T-Shirt
- Record of Community Service Hours (Upon Request)
- Lunch

Description
Special Olympics Florida provides sports training and Olympic-style competition to more than 60,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities throughout the state. Special Olympics Florida is a Level I Accredited Program (highest level of accreditation granted by SOI) and is divided into 11 area programs, which cover over 55 counties.
