Join Child Protective Services (CPS) to gain experience or apply your organizational, office/clerical skills and/or learn and add to your skills while working in a professional and friendly environment. This position assists our CPS Resource Families staff, who provide services to children and families each year.

Assignments include but not limited to: typing data into a template spreadsheet, photo copying flyers and brochures, putting together informational packets, filing.

Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. and type 25-30 wpm with minimal errors. GED or diploma required. Volunteers needed two weekdays per week, for 4-6 hours each week. N95 masks provided and must be worn at all times when indoors in common spaces.

Services provided include Child Protective Services (CPS) and Senior and Adult Services (SAS). SAS consists of Adult Protective Services, In-Home Supportive Services and the Public Administrator/Public Guardian/Public Conservator.

  • Must be at least 18
  • 4 - 6 hours per week, any weekdays. We ask for at least a 6 month commitment to volunteer.
  • Basic computer skills, data entry ability and effective communication skills. Type 25-30 wpm. Must submit to DOJ/FBI LiveScan background check (paid for by County)
