We are looking for a Program Coordinator for the Real Queens Fix Each Others’ Crowns. This volunteer role would be responsible for supporting the successful implementation and management of organization programming. This role involves coordinating activities, and facilitating communication among stakeholders, to ensure the effective delivery and impact of mental health services.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in program development, particularly in mental health or related fields.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of women and young girls' mental health issues and a commitment to promoting mental well-being.
Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health intervention and prevention.
Understanding of nonprofit operations and funding mechanisms.
Key responsibilities include:
Program Development and Implementation:
Develop, implement, and manage mental health programs tailored to the specific needs of women and young girls.
Work closely with mental health professionals, counselors, and educators to implement evidence-based programs.
Ensure programs are culturally sensitive, inclusive, and aligned with the organization's mission.
Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
Implement program evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness and impact of mental health initiatives.
Use data and feedback to make informed decisions and improvements to programs.
Community Engagement:
Engage with stakeholders to understand community needs and perceptions, adjusting programs accordingly.
Advocacy and Awareness:
Advocate for policies and practices that promote mental health awareness and support for women and young girls.
Develop and implement strategies to raise awareness about mental health issues within the target population.

What goals do you strive to accomplish, how can we be there for you today, how can we motivate each other to be the best you can be every single day?
