Back 2 School Distribution Day 2011
Children happily receive the school supplies that they need to succeed in the classroom

Join us for a mini Build-A-Kit Event on Friday, October 11th from 12-4pm!

We'd love for you to join us as a volunteer to build essential Back 2 School America Kits that will directly impact children in need. Each kit contains over 30 age appropriate school supplies. This Build-A-Kit will take place in the Back 2 School America offices. The kits will then be distributed at a later date to children in need within the city of Chicago.

The mission of Back 2 School Illinois is to create and support educational opportunities that enrich the lives of Illinois children.

Description

We create and support educational opportunities in the state of Illinois. We have one program in which we provide high school seniors scholarships to attend college.

Our biggest endevor is our Back 2 School program that provides school supplies to deserving children. Each year we do a big summer fundraising program and then purchase and distribute hundreds fo thousands of school supplies to needy children with the help of our partner agency, the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago.
