Did you always wanted to experience authentic life in Cambodia? We invite you to stay with Puthy in his home - the Takeo region - join and teach some English in a typical, Cambodian high school ("don’t worry! You don’t need to be an actual teacher - if you understand this text, you’re more than qualified.") and enjoy the nature of beautiful Cambodia!
Volunteers, both foreign and Cambodian, are vital to the improvement of Angkor Education Center, and we value them highly. Our goal with volunteers is to create a mutual sharing environment where skills can be exchanged, and everyone can learn. Working with a volunteer to support and train our staff allows us to continue to use the skills learned after the volunteer has left Foreign volunteers also benefit our program by creating opportunities for our staff and students to share cultures and ideas with native English speakers. After serving, many volunteers continue to contribute to their home countries by raising awareness and fundraising.
