Mission Statement
Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of single parents by empowering them with the tools, resources, and community support they need. The Anna Grace Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has been dedicated to this cause since 2014. We offer parenting and budgeting tips through one-on-one meetings, life coaching sessions, twice-monthly live Zoom support group chats, and annual events in the Treasure Valley and Pocatello areas. These programs share local resource information and help single parents build a supportive community. Additionally, single parents can access personalized parenting support through in-person or Zoom sessions. Our reach extends beyond Idaho, attracting single parents (Moms and Dads) from various states and countries through our profile on Meetup.com.
Description
Since our first meeting in July 2014, we've made a real impact in the lives of single parents, providing budgeting tips, fostering a sense of community, and creating fun, low-cost family events. Thanks to your dedication, we've been able to offer life coaching programs sponsored by generous individuals, and we continue to support single parents through our monthly Zoom chats.
Our founder, Nek'ka Migel, who was honored as the 2023 Idaho Mother of the Year, inspires us all with her dedication and vision. Our mission is to equip and educate advocates about the single parents in their lives, and your role as a volunteer is crucial in making this happen.
We love connecting with single parents in person and have small gifts to show our appreciation. Looking to the future, we dream of providing temporary housing to help single parents (dads and moms) as they work towards a better life for themselves and their children.
Together, we can make a difference!
