About Us:
Book Bytes is a nonprofit initiative focused on promoting literacy and digital education. As part of our mission, we’re expanding our digital presence and need skilled volunteers to help us achieve our goals. We’re currently seeking a WIX Web Developer to assist with building a personal website for the Founder, which will represent Book Bytes and its related projects.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a WIX Web Developer to collaborate with the Founder in designing and building a personal website that reflects the mission and projects of Book Bytes. The website will act as a hub for key organizational initiatives and will help amplify the reach and impact of the organization. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your web development skills on a real-world project with meaningful results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and build a website using WIX that aligns with the organization’s vision and goals.
• Ensure the website is responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly across devices.
• Collaborate with the Founder to incorporate key content, features, and organizational initiatives into the website.
• Optimize the site for performance and provide ongoing support for any necessary improvements.
• Work closely with other team members (such as UI/UX Designers) to ensure a seamless user experience.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in building websites using WIX (professional or personal projects).
• Understanding of web design principles, including responsive design and SEO basics.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to create visually appealing, functional websites.
• Ability to work independently, take feedback, and collaborate effectively with a remote team.

NB: Please note that this is an unpaid, volunteer role.
