Book Bytes is dedicated to fostering literacy and empowering underserved communities through digital platforms. As we grow, we’re looking for skilled individuals to contribute to the development of various digital projects, including expanding the Founder’s personal website, which plays a crucial role in representing Book Bytes and its mission.

Position Overview:
We’re seeking a UI/UX Designer to assist in designing a personal website for the Founder, which will highlight key organizational initiatives and projects, including Book Bytes. This project is an opportunity to design an impactful, user-friendly site that enhances the organization's online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Founder to design the user interface and user experience of a personal website that aligns with the organization’s goals.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups that are visually engaging and easy to navigate.
• Ensure the website is optimized for mobile and desktop use, providing a seamless experience across devices.
• Work alongside web developers to implement and iterate on designs.
• Incorporate feedback from the Founder and team to refine designs for optimal user experience.

Qualifications:

• Experience in UI/UX design (professional or personal projects).
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to adapt to feedback.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging, user-centered designs.

NB: Please note that this is an unpaid, volunteer role.
