Position Overview:

The Tech Education Mentor Program Manager will oversee the mentorship initiatives at Futuretech Foundation, focusing on technology education for students, schools, and communities. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between technology professionals and aspiring students, ensuring a valuable mentorship experience for both mentors and mentees.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Development & Strategy:

Design and implement tech education mentorship programs in collaboration with schools, universities, and tech communities.

Develop curriculum frameworks, resources, and educational tools for mentors and mentees.

Identify and integrate emerging technologies into the mentorship program (e.g., nanorobotics, 3D bioprinting, AI, quantum computing, etc.).

2. Mentor Recruitment & Management:

Recruit qualified mentors from the tech industry and academia with expertise in fields like robotics, biotechnology, and AI.

Ensure a diverse pool of mentors from around the globe to meet the needs of various mentees.

Provide training and ongoing support to mentors, helping them develop effective mentoring techniques.

3. Mentee Engagement:

Work with schools, community groups, and tech clubs to identify potential mentees, particularly targeting middle and high school students.

Oversee the selection process for mentees, ensuring that underrepresented communities in tech are prioritized.

Develop resources to guide mentees through their tech education journey, including projects, workshops, and study materials.

4. Program Administration:

Monitor program progress and mentor-mentee interactions, providing feedback and resolving any issues.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as mentee academic progress, mentor engagement levels, and overall program satisfaction.

Ensure all program activities align with Futuretech Foundation’s goals of fostering technology education and community impact.

5. Community Outreach & Partnerships:

Build partnerships with schools, community organizations, and tech companies to expand the reach of the mentorship program.

Organize events, webinars, and workshops that connect mentees with industry professionals and provide exposure to real-world tech scenarios.

Collaborate with the Director of Programs and Community Outreach to engage with local and international communities.

Required Qualifications:

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Technology, Program Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in program management, education, or a related field.

Proven experience working with educational initiatives, preferably in STEM or tech fields.

Experience managing volunteers, mentors, or interns in an educational or nonprofit setting.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong project management skills with the ability to design and implement large-scale educational programs.

Exceptional communication skills to engage with mentors, students, schools, and tech partners.

A passion for technology education, particularly in emerging fields like AI, robotics, and biotechnology.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.

Volunteer (until further grants and funding are secured).

Location: Remote, with occasional in-person events depending on the region and community
