Looking for a fun way to volunteer for a nonprofit and engage with social media? This might be the opportunity for you! We're seeking volunteer social media admins to help boost our social media presense by establishing platform profiles, creating approved foundation-specific content, posting and sharing content with networks.

Responsibilities include:

  • establishing profiles on social media platforms
  • proposing and drafting professional and engaging content for social media platforms
  • seeking board approval on proposed content drafts
  • finalizing approved content for existing or new platforms daily
  • posting and sharing approved content with networks and driving engagement
  • resharing fellow nonprofit events
  • tracking engagement metrics and presenting to the board
  • proposing suggestions on how to drive engagement
  • attend bi-monthly (every other month) board meetings

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 year of age
  • Have a friendly and outgoing personality
  • Have excellent communication and writing skills
  • Must have flexibility to post at least once per day
  • Be interested in community service and community engagement
  • Must have an existing social media presence (which will be vetted)

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys engaging on social media. The role can be performed from anywhere within the United States. All candidates must reside within the United States. Candidates outside the United States cannot be considered.
