Role Overview: As a Wayfinder Volunteer, you’ll provide essential support to our Welcome Desk team by assisting guests with directions, answering questions, and escorting them to various locations within our facility. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that every visitor feels welcomed and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Anticipate and meet guest needs by going the extra mile to enhance their experience.
• Escort customers and visitors to their destinations, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported.
• Assist with wheelchair transports and deliveries, including flowers and packages, while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Help visitors navigate parking payment machines and provide assistance during discharge processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Welcome Center and surrounding areas.

• Personable, mature, and pleasant individuals who enjoy interacting with others.
• Dependable, self-motivated volunteers who can move about the hospital unassisted.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
