What you bring to the team:

• Experience organizing and executing large (300+ attendees) and small scale events
• Experience working with external vendors and all parties involved with hosting an event
• Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with event sponsors, attendees and others to foster a sense of community and loyalty to Baypath
• Experience with and/or interest in contributing to and learning about a non-profit mission related to animal welfare

Responsibilities:

Contribute to the organization & execution of one or more events held throughout the year including:

• Event planning and executing deliverables against a predefined project plan
• Collaborate with Social Media team to get the word out about the event and get the community excited about participating
• Sponsor Outreach & Communication to generate interest in the event and raise monies beyond event attendance
• Event Hosting including attendees’ registration and day of event logistics
• Engaging & courting current & future supporters
• Post-event follow-up and ensure the event is successfully completed through a combination of direct contributions and collaboration with others
• Work with event chair to prepare post-event reports and evaluations, summarizing key metrics, successes, challenges, and recommendations for improvement
• Actively contribute to creating synergy across all Baypath events
