Calling Orange County community to come out, organize and mobilize. Get ready to make a difference in our community! Our first canvassing shift is just around the corner, and we're excited to have you all on Saturday, September 28 at the Arab American Civic Council office. This event is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, learn about canvassing, and contribute to a meaningful cause. Skills & Qualifications

- Enthusiasm and demonstrated ability to work and communicate with diverse community members.

- Has a smartphone and wireless internet.

- Ability to speak Arabic is preferred but not required.

- Reliable transportation to travel throughout Orange County preferred.

- Must have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance.

- Ability to meet canvassing goals (doors knocked, voter conversations, etc.).

Compensation & Employment Schedule

For those interested in the paid Field Canvasser position, this position is short-term. This employment is for the period of September 28th - November 5th, 2024.

Paid Field Canvassers are expected to attend a training on September 28th.

Schedule: - Part time (20+ hours) - Evening shift - Weekends Community Canvassing Dates:

Community Kick off Sept 28, (10am-4pm)

• Monday-Thursday/2:00PM-8:00PM, Saturday/10:00AM-3:00PM, & Sunday/10:00AM-2:00PM

We welcome volunteer Field Canvassers to attend any dates that they are available.

Hourly rate: $20.00 per hour. Meals and refreshments will be provided.
