Mission Statement

To rescue, support, rehabilitate and disciple girls aged 12-17 years who are pregnant, and in a vulnerable, unsupported situation where they are facing rejection and where the environment is causing harm or risk to both her and the unborn child. We provide a loving home, counselling, education, discipleship and a chance to start a new life.

Description

Wings of hope rescue home is a charitable non-profit making organization that deals with the rescue of homeless and unsupported Pregnant teenage girls. Girls below the age of 17, victims of rape and child sexual abuse. The rescue is to assist them not to involve themselves into abortion and child abandonment.

The girls are given a home (at Wings of hope rescue home). We walk with them through pregnancy, take them to hospital for delivery at nine months, we walk with them post delivery: training them to be the best mums to their babies. After six months of breastfeeding , we seek to establish what level of school the teen mum ever reached. We then approach the nearest schools to us, seek places for them and we enroll them back to school to continue getting an education from where they stopped.
Some of the babies born while the mums are at Wings of hope rescue home have also grown to school going age, they have also been enrolled in school.

Wings of hope is located here in Nairobi Kenya, along Kangundo road at Kamulu (30 minutes drive from Nairobi central business District (CBD)
