Share YOUR thankfulness this holiday season by serving others! Share My Smile provides an annual holiday dinner for our foster families. The dinner is catered with ham, turkey, and all the fixings. Kids get to take pics with Santa, create holiday ornaments, and receive a free toy, stuffed animal, and book.

The event is Saturday, November 2, 5pm-7pm. We need 65-70 volunteers throughout the day. Shifts are available on the sign up form with descriptions of what you would be doing.

    Requires loading/unloading truck of supplies.
  • Sat Nov 02, 2024 - 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM CST - Spots available: 10+
    Setting up tables, chairs, sections, decorating.
  • Sat Nov 02, 2024 - 04:00 PM to 08:00 PM CST - Spots available: 10+
    Serve food, man sections, clean up
  • Sat Nov 02, 2024 - 07:00 PM to 09:00 PM CST - Spots available: 9
    Clean up, load truck

Our mission is to provide family strengthening events and care programs for foster families to encourage true, honest, and happy smiles in children.

Description

Share My Smile provides support to foster and adoptive families in Iowa. We have three main programs to assist our families including Project Birthday Joy, Care for You Action, and Operation Holiday Smiles. These provide support for childrens' birthdays, backpacks full of necessities when children enter a new home, and financial support around the holiday season. Share My Smile hosts free or affordable family strengthening events to give our families a chance to spend time with one another in the community.
