We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Hospice Volunteers in the Dublin area. We have several facilities in the area with a large need for patient companions.
As a hospice volunteer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients and their families. Volunteers provide companionship and emotional support in a variety of settings.
Suncrest Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care to individuals and support to their families. We offer a range of services to ensure comfort, dignity, and quality of life during this challenging time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Provide short periods of respite care to give family caregivers a break.
- Assist with light tasks to ease the mind of patients.
- Participate in patient care plans and attend training sessions.
Training and Support:
- Comprehensive training program covering hospice care, communication skills, and volunteer responsibilities.
- Ongoing support and supervision from experienced staff members.
