Volunteer Opportunity: Mentor/Tutor for Homeless Children
Organization: Bridging Tech
Location: Remote (can be in-person if volunteer wishes to do so)

About Us:
At Bridging Tech, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full academic potential, regardless of their circumstances. We are dedicated to supporting homeless and at-risk children through educational empowerment.
Role Overview:
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated volunteers to serve as mentors and tutors for children from homeless or housing-insecure backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring in subjects such as math, reading, science, and homework help.
- Act as a positive role model and mentor, fostering a supportive and trusting relationship.
- Help children build confidence in their academic abilities and personal growth.
- Assist with setting and achieving academic goals and personal milestones.
Qualifications:
- A passion for education and a desire to make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a plus but not required. We offer training to all volunteers.
- Ability to commit to tutoring/mentoring at least one student
