Gentiva hospice serves Macomb, Rochester Hills, Troy, Mt Clemens, Warren and several local counties in and around Detroit. Medical Students welcome.
Hospice volunteers provide:
Patient Companionship: Spending time with patients, talking, reading, playing games, or simply being a comforting presence
Practical Support: Running errands, helping with small household tasks
Administrative Tasks: Helping with duties in the Gentiva office on Garfield Rd.
Specialized Services: Veteran pinning, music, crafts
