Recruiting Organization: Unity in Greensboro Youth & Family

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make Game On Greensboro a huge success on October 5, 2024! Game On Greensboro is a family-friendly mini gaming convention near UNCG's campus. The event serves as a fundraiser for the youth leadership and development programs for Unity in Greensboro.

You can sign up for a 3-hour shift as a General Volunteer or Game Coach. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or just excited to help, there's a role for you!

General Volunteers

• Assist with event setup and breakdown
• Greet attendees and help with registration
• Help with crowd flow, answering questions, and directing attendees
• Assist vendors and game hosts as needed
• Shifts: 9am-12 pm, 10am-1pm, 12-3pm, 1-4pm, 3-6 pm, and 4-7pm

Game Coaches

• Go through game instructions with those requesting help to understand a new game
• Ensure a fun and inclusive experience for players of all ages and skill levels
• Answer questions about game rules and strategies
• Shifts: 11:30-2:30pm, 1:30-4:30pm, and 2:30-6pm
