We’re looking for a Recruitment Manager to join our growing team!

What you’ll do:

We are seeking an experienced Volunteer Recruitment Manager to lead our recruitment efforts across the organization. This role will focus on building teams and executing recruitment strategies swiftly to attract experienced talent eager to volunteer and contribute to our mission.

  • Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the volunteer recruitment process.

  • Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria for volunteer roles.

  • Identify and implement efficient recruiting methods and strategies based on available roles, industry standards, and organizational needs.

  • Assist with job posting and advertisement processes across various platforms, including social media and networking events.

  • Screen applications and select qualified candidates, ensuring alignment with role requirements.

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, overseeing the preparation of interview questions and other selection materials.

  • Conduct interviews alongside managers and stakeholders, providing insights and facilitating the decision-making process.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR staff during the offer process, recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as organizational policies.

  • Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions to enhance outreach.

  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and addressing concerns to ensure a positive candidate experience.

  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, referrals, and direct outreach, to attract potential candidates.

  • Coordinate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new volunteers.

  • Demonstrate a strong desire to contribute to and add value to our volunteer organization.

What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective negotiation tactics.

  • Proactive and independent with a proven ability to take initiative.

  • Excellent time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.

  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

  • Proficient with applicant-tracking software (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for a variety of roles.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.

  • At least five years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process preferred.

We strive to make fine art readily available to anyone who wishes to experience it, even when unable to do so financially. The Donovan's Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) produces annual benefit concerts, shows, and performances. These experiences are open for all community members. The Donovan's Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) exercises: artistic, comedic, and musical channels to bring soothing to children hospitals, hospices, shelters for the homeless, nursing homes, and various other entities full of people in need of assuagement. The Donovan's Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) has partnered with The Donovan's Piano Room to host weekly online lessons to students who wish to learn music, music theory, sight-reading, and musical techniques, even when they can't afford to do so.
