October 12th, 2024 SterlingFest is an annual Fall celebration in Sterling, VA. To make this celebration happen, we need volunteers to help with various set up tasks, traffic direction, and serving tasks. We have some Team Captain positions available as well. Many positions can be held by teens and/or adults.

Description
The Sterling Foundation’s mission for over 35 years has been to strengthen the Sterling community through environmental, educational, cultural and recreational opportunities. Our dedicated focus has been to raise the funds that will keep the four mile stretch of Sterling Boulevard mowed, maintained and beautiful. In addition to the mowings, we host quarterly trash pick-ups along the boulevard, annual stream cleanups, seasonal tree pruning's, native flower plantings and regular garden maintenance. Every October, we sponsor SterlingFest, which brings everyone together, filling the streets of Sterling with people, music, booths, games, food and more. The proceeds help to fund our initiatives throughout the year as we continue our work for Sterling.
