The Volunteer Onboarding and Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for managing the recruitment, onboarding, and engagement of volunteers for The J. Atterby Fields Foundation. This role ensures a positive and seamless experience for volunteers from the moment they apply to their continued participation. The ideal candidate will excel in creating a welcoming environment, managing the onboarding process, and developing strategies to engage and retain volunteers over the long term.

Mission Statement

We are The J Atterby Fields Foundation a 501c3 nonprofit in Los Angeles here to Kinect and Enrich. We benefit children and families of lower income community’s. Working together with community partners providing access to programs and resources that promote fitness in all aspects and healthier lifestyles, while focusing on health disparities and other social determinants that cause preventable diseases. "With family anything is possible" (Our motto) Keeping families together is the goal we want to achieve through our enrichment programs that we fund through the B.L.U.E. Project, (building lives unity economics) This community project creates sustainability and a new outlook on our mental, physical, and individual, health and wellness.

Description

We promote mental, physical and financial fitness through our Kinect and Enrich programs focused on keeping families together. We developed and funded these programs to provide workshops, resources, and services for children and families promoting better health wellness, fitness, and financial literacy. Through our programs we provide practical life skills that have helped individuals of all ages and backgrounds in personal development. The impact of our organizations consistent efforts has made a difference in the lives of children and families of lower income areas affected by health disparities within the South Los Angeles community.
