We are a new nonprofit. We have an existing website for our for profit business and we want to add a landing page for our non profit that will allow people, businesses, organizations and foundations to make donations. We also want to include sponsorship packages in a menu format.
We are working on collecting personal stories of some of the women we have helped and others who could not get a medical wig because they did not have the money or insurance coverage. We want this page to be well done and impactful and are looking for an experienced web designer who can incorporate buttons to receive donations along with images and media to tell an inspirational story. We have been advised to make sure their is a redirect link.
Our mission is to provide free high-quality medical wigs that reflect the unique identities of women who have lost their hair from medical conditions like lupus, thyroid disease, downs syndrome, burn injury and different types of alopecia as well as women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.
There are only a small number of private insurance companies that consider medical wigs durable medical equipment, others claim medical wigs are cosmetic accessories. We believe that medical wigs are cranial prostheses and like other prostheses are medically necessary to restore normalcy and confidence. Medical hair loss can have a huge emotional impact often leading to thoughts of depression and anxiety. We want to stand in the gap until this is realized.

Description
In June 2022, we founded Morgan & Moore Non-Surgical Hair Replacement to provide cranial prostheses, or medical wigs, to women experiencing medical hair loss through their insurance. Our clients suffer from conditions such as cancer, lupus, burn injuries, chemical exposures, and various forms of alopecia. While some insurance plans cover cranial prostheses, many classify them as cosmetic, leaving numerous women without vital support. Customized cranial prostheses are essential durable medical equipment, and we have been advocating for insurance companies to recognize this by lobbying for Bill AB 2668 at the state level and Bill HR 4034 federally. To address this urgent need, we launched our nonprofit to ensure that no woman facing medical hair loss is turned away. We believe every woman deserves access to high-quality, natural-looking units tailored to her condition. Through our nonprofit, we aim to secure donations and sponsorships to cover the costs of cranial prostheses for those without adequate insurance coverage. We have partnered with organizations like the National Alopecia Foundation, Bay Area Cancer Connections, and CRHMC to raise awareness about this crucial issue and advance our mission. We recognize that running a nonprofit is challenging, and we are dedicated to seeking the support necessary to help more women.
