Are you looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity that allows you to make a difference in the lives of others? Be a Fancy Fingers volunteer and provide much-needed nail pampering to our residents.
As a Fancy Fingers volunteer, you'll:
- Remove old polish and file residents' nails
- Assist in choosing a preferred nail polish color.
- Paint residents' nails with care and attention to detail.
- Engage in friendly conversation with residents, creating a positive and enjoyable experience.
This is a good fit for you:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with individuals.
- Patience and compassion when interacting with people of varying abilities.
- Tolerance to nail polish and remover odors.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate and careful nail care.
Time Commitment: Wednesdays, 1:45-3pm. You can sign up for as many shifts as you'd like.

Description
Lyngblomsten provides compassionate care to older adults through residential and community services. Volunteers of all ages are welcomed to explore over 100 unique and varied opportunities. While short-term options may be available periodically, we encourage longer-term commitments given the exceptional level of orientation, training and on-going education Lyngblomsten provides in support of its volunteers.
