If you have a passion for nature and the Bashakill, a willingness to share your passion and a few week-end hours during the summer to volunteer, then you’d make a great addition to our Team! As a volunteer, you’ll interact with visitors, help monitor an active bald eagle nest and share information about all that the wetland has to offer.Training is once a year in April and volunteers agree to sign up for 3 weekend shifts of 3 hours each between end of April and end of June. Email bkaavolunteer@gmail.com for more information or to sign up for our next training. Teens interested in learning about the natural sciences are welcome as long as they have guardian permission and transportation.
