Help promote Literacy Volunteers of Rensselaer County in and around the Capital Region! Spend a few hours tabling at events in the community to educate the public on LVORC's services and needs. All materials are provided and volunteers are educated on LVORC's policies and programs. No experience necessary, brief training provided. A fun and easy opportunity to participate in your community and educate the public on the needs of literacy services. Table at events such as farmers markets, festivals, community service events, and more!

Literacy Volunteers of Rensselaer County NY provides free, confidential tutoring to adults, families and out-of-school teens in reading, writing, and conversational English; and recruits and trains volunteers to provide this tutoring.
