FREE soccer courses open to athletes of all abilities!

With the help of coaches, volunteers, & specialists, we open the indoor field for a free, fun-filled day of soccer complete with skill stations, working on fundamentals like footwork, dribbling, goal scoring, & more

Volunteers will be placed in positions based on experience working with children:

Lead (Demonstrate & Work with kids)- Those with experience. Please email or DM us IG for this position.

Line (Help Maintain Lines & Talk to the parents)- Help make everyone feel comfortable.

Support (Cheerleaders, Door Greeters, Bathroom People, etc)- Paired with leads wo help support them.

Mission Statement

Sports 4 Autism is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The mission of Sports 4 Autism is to provide affordable, inclusive, and inspiring introductory sports lessons for children/adults with autism and other related disabilities.

Description

Our overall goal is to deliver an inclusive program where any student can learn through sports. Through the jamborees we work on several skills including following directions, completing multi step procedures, and celebrating others. By the end of the program athletes will not only be introduced to sports but will learn to utilize new skills that transfer to other sports and their everyday lives. All led by a behavioral psychologist.

  • This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
  • Driver's License Needed
  • Must be at least 10
  • Orientation or Training
  • 2 Hours
  • Arriving 20 Minutes early for an overview on the event. Kids under 15 must be with a parent.
