Position Overview:

The Program Leader for Hearts Unbroken will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating programs designed to support children of divorce. This role will involve working closely with families, counselors, and volunteers to ensure that programs are delivered effectively, with compassion, and in alignment with the organization’s mission to promote emotional well-being and resilience among children experiencing family separation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Management:

    • Lead the planning, development, and implementation of programs aimed at helping children navigate the challenges of divorce.
    • Ensure program activities align with organizational goals and serve the needs of children and their families.
    • Manage day-to-day operations of assigned programs, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Team Coordination:

    • Supervise program staff, counselors, and volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Facilitate regular team meetings to monitor progress, address challenges, and share updates.
    • Ensure all team members are trained and equipped with the necessary resources to effectively support children of divorce.
  • Community Outreach & Engagement:

    • Build and maintain relationships with local schools, family therapists, community organizations, and other stakeholders to expand the reach of the organization’s programs.
    • Organize workshops, seminars, and support groups for parents and children.
    • Represent Hearts Unbroken at community events, advocating for the needs of children of divorce.
  • Program Evaluation:

    • Collect and analyze feedback from participants, parents, and stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of programs.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and implement necessary changes.
    • Prepare reports on program outcomes for the executive team and board of directors.
  • Resource Development:

    • Assist in identifying resources, grants, and partnerships that could enhance or expand the nonprofit’s offerings.
    • Collaborate with the fundraising team to create and implement program-related campaigns.
