Mother Brook Arts and Community Center's Winter Open Studios on December 7+8, 11am-5pm in Dedham, MA seeks volunteers! This is Mother Brook's biggest event of the year, welcoming over 1,000 guests for a weekend of artist studio visits, exhibition, excellent local food and beverage, live music and more.
This opportunity and the tasks associated are for high school students 15-18 to help out on Saturday, December 7.
Afternoon High School Volunteer Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Helping Artists Load-In furniture and artwork
- Assisting guests in the parking lot and with wayfinding, directing to overflow lot
- Assisting with the Silent Auction
- Tidying the building, restocking papertowels/toilet paper in restrooms as needed
- Delivering food from food vendors to artists and vendors
- Assisting at the front door welcome table
- Other duties as assigned
- Taking trash out to dumpster at end of shift
