Position Overview:

The Volunteer Manager is responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training, and coordination of volunteers to support Precious Pairs Inc.'s mission. This role involves creating a welcoming and engaging environment for volunteers, ensuring they are effectively utilized and feel valued. The Volunteer Manager will work closely with various teams to match volunteers to appropriate programs, track volunteer hours, and ensure a positive experience for all.

1. Volunteer Recruitment:

   • Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies.
   • Promote volunteer opportunities through various channels, including social media, local events, and community outreach.
   • Manage the application and onboarding process for new volunteers.

2. Volunteer Coordination and Support:

   • Assign volunteers to suitable projects and roles based on their skills and interests.
   • Organize and schedule volunteer activities and ensure coverage for ongoing programs.
   • Provide training, resources, and support to ensure volunteers are well-prepared.

3. Volunteer Retention and Engagement:

   • Develop initiatives to recognize and reward volunteers for their contributions.
   • Create regular opportunities for feedback and ensure volunteers feel connected to the organization’s mission.
   • Plan appreciation events and recognition programs for volunteers.

4. Administrative Duties:

   • Maintain accurate records of volunteer participation and hours.
   • Monitor and evaluate volunteer performance and provide feedback.
   • Prepare reports on volunteer engagement and impact.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

   • Work closely with program directors and team leaders to understand volunteer needs.
   • Serve as the main point of contact for volunteers, answering questions and resolving issues.
   • Ensure all volunteers adhere to Precious Pairs Inc.’s policies and procedures.
