ORGANIZATION: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

Volunteers will be required to open and close gates of the park at designated times. The park host’s primary is the functional operation of the park. The secondary responsibility is to assist visitors and identify problems/issues inside the park.

The Park has a fully operational gate house that the volunteer will be housed out of. A normal rotation consists of an eight (8) day rotation, 2 days on 6 days off. A shift consists of two (2) 12-hour days. Volunteers will NOT be responsible for collecting funds, all funds will be routed through the fee kiosk, or recreation.gov. Single volunteers will be considered, although volunteer pairs are preferred. RV pad is supplied with Full hook-ups.
