Woodhull Volunteer Services is hosting a Career Day Conference for High School Seniors coming from various schools throughout Brooklyn. An event where these students learn about all the career paths within healthcare, both clinical and non-clinical professions. Be a part of an event that will help to shape these young adults working lives, helping them to consider their career paths after graduation.
These students will be introducted to career mapping, becoming more marketable, interviewing tips and so much more. They'll have the opportunity to converse with various department representatives and experience live demonstrations of equipment and devices that support all areas of patient care, from clinical, adminstrative and support services departments.
Event Volunteers will assist in activities to support the success of the program. Such as:
> Conference Center set up;
· Welcoming, greeting, and escorting attendees;
· Manning the registration table and activity stations;
· Putting together and distributing swag bags;
· Crowd management;
· Answering questions from attendees throughout the event;
· Assisting in Ice Breaker Activities and Q&A sessions;
· Conference Center Clean Up.
