Fall Festival brings together more than 1,200 athletes and coaches at Villanova University for competition in bocce, flag football, long distance running/walking, powerlifting, soccer, and volleyball, as well as opportunities for celebration and socialization. This event wouldn’t be possible without the support of volunteers!

Please consider joining us for one or more day/shifts as a volunteer. Volunteers are needed to help with scorekeeping, timing, food, general support, awards and more!

To signup, please register through our portal at portals.specialolympics.org. After answering a few questions and verifying your email, you can sign up for the job of your choice at Fall Fest. Thanks and we hope to see you there!

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Description

Athletes -- Over 16,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities or closely related developmental disabilities participate in over 300 local, sectional and state events. Athletes range in age from 8 to 80 and are of all ability levels.

Volunteers -- Nearly 46,000 volunteers provided the manpower for Special Olympics Pennsylvania last year.
