About Maya's Hope:

Maya's Hope is a nonprofit organization committed to helping children in need around the world by providing medical care, education, and life-saving surgeries. Our annual Maya's Hope Lotus Ball is a crucial fundraising event that supports these efforts.

We are seeking passionate individuals to join our Fundraising Committee to help secure financial support, in-kind donations, and auction items for the Maya's Hope Lotus Ball. This role is perfect for those who want to make a tangible difference while utilizing their networking and fundraising skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement creative fundraising strategies to support the gala’s financial goals.

Reach out to personal and professional networks, businesses, and organizations to encourage donations and sponsorships.

Secure in-kind donations for the event’s auction or raffle (e.g., luxury goods, vacation packages, services).

Track and report on fundraising progress, ensuring that financial goals are met.

Skills Needed:

Strong communication and persuasion skills.

Ability to build and leverage personal and professional networks.

Previous fundraising or sales experience is a plus.

Passion for nonprofit work and helping children.

Time Commitment:

5-10 hours per week leading up to the event.
