Help us shine a spotlight on the heroes among us! The American Red Cross is looking for a Lifesaving Awards Volunteer to manage regional nominations and ensure that those who have saved lives receive the recognition they deserve.
Responsibilities may include:
- Manage and process regional nominations for Lifesaving Awards.
- Coordinate award presentations, including logistics.
- Ensure awards are printed, framed, and signed.
- Arrange the venue and necessary items (e.g., appropriate location, podium, microphone, Red Cross backdrop for photos).
- Serve as the main point of contact for the National Lifesaving Awards Program and submit regional presentation photos.
Time Commitment:
Variable, dependent on the number of nominations received (twice per year, on average).
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience in event planning and coordination.
