ORGANIZATION: SHE BECAME INC

The Director of Marketing will play a critical role in amplifying the mission and impact of She Became. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to increase the organization's visibility, expand its reach, and engage with key stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, partners, and the broader community. As a member of the leadership team, the Director of Marketing will ensure that all marketing efforts align with the organization’s mission, values, and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies: Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote She Became’s programs, events, and initiatives, both locally and nationally.

  • Manage brand identity: Establish and monitor consistency in messaging and visual identity across all platforms, including digital, social media, and print materials.

  • Digital marketing and content creation: Oversee the creation of engaging content for social media, newsletters, and the website, ensuring the message resonates with the target audience.

  • Campaign management: Partner with other board members to oversee fundraising, awareness, and community engagement campaigns to promote program participation, fundraising, and volunteer recruitment.

  • Collaborate with partners: Develop relationships with community partners and media outlets to secure promotional opportunities and media coverage for the organization.

  • Analytics and reporting: Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions to improve engagement and outreach.

  • Team Management: The Director of Marketing will oversee a team of volunteers responsible for various aspects of the organization's marketing efforts. Positions reporting to the Director of Marketing include:

    • Graphic Designer: Designs digital and print materials, including social media graphics, flyers, and promotional content, ensuring they are visually aligned with the organization’s brand.

    • Social Media Coordinator: Responsible for managing and growing She Became’s presence on social media platforms and website, creating and scheduling content, and engaging with followers.

    • Communications Coordinator: Develops blog posts, newsletters, and other written materials to support the organization’s marketing and outreach efforts.

    • Photographer

    • Videographer

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in marketing, communications, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to lead and manage a team of volunteers.

  • Passion for She Became's mission and the empowerment of young girls.

  • Creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

She Became is a nonprofit program dedicated to inspiring confidence in young girls and championing gender equality through mentorship and education. Every She Became session provides a new opportunity for girls to explore the vast world of what’s possible to chart their own path to success.
