Hourly Commitment: 5-10 hours monthly

Description:
Join our team at Friends of Lakeshore State Park to help elevate our social media presence and engage with our community! As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing our Instagram and Facebook channels, monitoring interactions, and assisting in crafting our monthly newsletters. You'll collaborate with a marketing team member from Visit Milwaukee to design eye-catching graphics that highlight park events and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update FLSP’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook)
  • Monitor and respond to social media interactions
  • Assist in writing and editing monthly newsletters
  • Work with Visit Milwaukee’s marketing team to create engaging graphics

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills

The Friends of Lakeshore State Park partner with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and our community to support Lakeshore State Park as Milwaukee’s premier urban lakefront destination for environmental and freshwater education, conservation, recreation and outdoor enjoyment
