Content Creator (Volunteer)
Location: Remote or Queen Creek, AZ (In-person opportunities available for local volunteers)

Are you passionate about sustainability and skilled in visual storytelling?
Waste Free Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is seeking a talented Content Creator to help share our mission of reducing waste and promoting sustainable living. You will collaborate closely with our Marketing Director to ensure content aligns with our overall strategy and engages our community.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and design compelling content for our social media platforms and website
• Create graphics, visuals, and other multimedia content to support our campaigns
• Work with the Marketing Director to maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic
• Research sustainability trends and incorporate them into your content
• Assist in managing content calendars and scheduling posts across platforms
• Attend and capture content at in-person events if local

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
• Strong eye for design and art direction
• Familiarity with social media platforms and trends (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
• Creative thinking and the ability to translate ideas into visual content
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Video editing or animation skills are a plus but not required

No formal degree required-just a passion for creativity and sustainability!

Commitment:

• Approximately 10 hours per week
• Flexible schedule
• Opportunity to work remotely, or join us for local events if in the Queen Creek, AZ area
