Recruiting Organization: Heart to Heart Hospice- Lansing

Heart to Heart Hospice was established in Plano, Texas, in 2003. Our founder, who continues to lead the organization today, believed in a philosophy of care based on compassion. That belief remains our guiding force.

We provide a compassionate, patient-centered approach to medical care and supportive services for patients at the end of life, as well as for their family members. This has driven the success of our hospice programs and we are now one of the largest private providers of hospice care in the United States.

Our volunteers are a special part of the Heart to Heart Hospice care team, making a difference in people’s lives by providing a variety of supportive services.

There are opportunities to interact directly with patients and families or to serve our local hospice programs by assisting staff members in an office setting. Both contribute something significant to our mission of providing compassionate care!

We provide training and our volunteer coordinator helps each volunteer find the most appropriate area of service.

• Must be able to commit to an hour of volunteering per week for a year.
