ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

Our Campground Hosts are the first line greeters who welcome visitors to the island. They provide orientation for campers twice daily with ferry arrival and to private boaters as they arrive. Campground hosts engage in general cleaning of campgrounds (cleaning fire rings, inspecting picnic tables for wear and tear, etc.) as well as manning the ranger station. They provide crucial information to campers and daytime visitors in topics varying from campsite directions to rules for protecting wildlife.

A two month commitment is required to allow sufficient training and knowledge base.
