Host an International student in your home and learn about other cultures around the world. Our nonprofit organization helps students from all over the world connect with host families in America. These students are carefully selected and have a passion to learn about American culture and improve their English skills. Volunteer host families provide them this unique opportunity to attend a local high school for one year. Students are between the age of 15 and 18 and attend anywhere from 9th to 12th grade. Host families all look different! Some have children, some are empty nesters. Some are single parents, some single adults. Some are working families, some retired. In a nutshell, we are looking for host families that want a student to join in as part of the family! They will be excited to share some of their culture with you as well. This is a volunteer program! Our host families have a passion to give back and give our students a once in a lifetime opportunity to study abroad. Hosts need to be willing and able to provide a welcoming home, bedroom for the student, some transportation if needed and access to three meals a day.
