ECO: Waste Station Warrior at Boo! By the Bay

Sustainability is Sexy is in need of Waste Station Warriors to assist with zero waste efforts at Boo! By the Bay. Boo! By the Bay is a free spooktacular celebration with live entertainment, seasonal food and drinks, games and costume contests. A frightfully fun time for all!

Waste Station Warriors will assist attendees and vendors with proper waste sorting, zero waste education, and waste station monitoring.

Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes

Attire: Comfortable clothing, sun protection and comfortable, closed-toe shoes. This opportunity takes place outdoors with little or no shade so volunteers should wear sun protection such as sunscreen and a hat.

Bring: Refillable water bottle, gloves, and snacks.

Physical Requirements: Bending, minimal lifting, and standing. This project is able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations by providing chairs at the waste stations if necessary.

Waiver: All volunteers are required to sign the Sustainability is Sexy waiver prior to the event. Please email your completed waiver to info@sustainabilityissexy.org prior to your scheduled shift.
