Every Scout Group needs trustees
Our trustees oversee the administration of our Scout Group, and work behind the scenes to support our volunteers. Trustees don't work directly with young people - but without them, Scouts couldn't operate, and couldn't make a difference for young people.
As well as a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, we welcome people with specific skills, and representatives of Beaver, Cub and Scout parents. Most Group Executives meet three or four times a year. There are also tasks between meetings, but these can usually be done from home in your own time, making them perfect if you'd like to support Scouts but have limited time or don't want to commit to running weekly meetings or regular activities with young people.
